Stories of O at

SoO Artwork Sept 2026

This month Stories of O will NOT be on the last Sunday of August.

We will be at The Joslyn on Thursday, September 3 rd at 6:45pm.

(There will be no potluck for this evening so please don’t bring food or drink!)

“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way—things I had no words for.”

Georgia O’Keeffe

The Night at the Joslyn theme:

Art Stories

Stories where works of visual art, making visual art, or experiences at art museums are a main element of the story.

We’re excited to have Hannah Clark, a local poet and theatre-maker, who’s played the harp as a therapeutic passion since age 16, join us to share some songs this month.

Join us on Thursday, September 3rd @ 6:45pm

at The Joslyn in the Founder’s Room

Stories of O Helpful Reminders:

You’re invited to share an evening of in-person community and great stories.

The stories do not have to be amazing or brilliantly told. They just have to be from the heart.

There is no obligation to share a story – you are more than welcome to join us and listen!

If you do bring a story, here are some guiding thoughts – the stories should be true, rather than fiction, and have some strong connection to your life. They should be around five minutes long, and told from memory (without notes).

Please RSVP to rhaubencombs@gptcplays.com if you’re able to join us.

We are grateful that this year, the Stories of O is supported in part by a grant from the Omaha Community Foundation Neighborhood Fund.
